Responsibility
- Develop features and improvements to the backend services in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
- Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
- Design & maintain scalable, secure backend services in the cloud. Using Microsoft technologies (.Net Core, Azure).
- Continuously discuss, debate with other team members to propose optimal solutions for different problems.
- Maintain and monitor the systems to make sure there is no disruption in our services.
- Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers on your team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years prior experience as a .Net Backend Developer in a complex development environment.
- At least 2 years experience working with micro-services system and cloud services.
- Expertise with .Net Core, Rest API, SQL Server, Linq, Code First, OOP, CQRS, SOLID.
- Good experience with big system serve more than 500k users, good understand of microservices vital elements: redis, elasticsearch, api ingress, gateway, proxy, identity server, oauth2, message broker(RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus/Kafka).
- Experienced with Azure, CICD, Azure DevOps
- Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
- Reading and writing in English
- Experience with below are plus:
- Azure services: VM, App service, Storage, Key vault, SaaS redis, NAT gateway, Application gateway, Azure SQL, Elastic pool, Azure pipeline
- Kubernetes: AKS
- Docker: Container, image, docker-compose
- Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite, JIRA
