Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, particularly within the Windows environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through meticulous manual testing. You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify, document, and help resolve software defects
Your skills and experience
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases based on provided test plans and requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and configuration testing related to application behavior
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Windows software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of the Windows OS and familiarity with its tools (e.g, Event Viewer, CMD/PowerShell,Resource/Performance Monitor)
- Basic networking configuration and troubleshooting. (e.g, private vs public network, NAT, firewall, ping, tracert, IPv4)
- Proficiency in manual testing and a solid understanding of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, and performance testing)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
